The scenic view of Katsura River slowly unfolds as we find our way to Shoraian for lunch. I knew I've seen this river on my old blog -and just sighed that we weren't here in autumn/spring. The Arashiyama (here refers to the mountain) is coated with a dull brown instead of bright reds, but the river itself did not disappoint. Sometimes I wished rivers in Malaysia could look as pretty as this so I wouldn't be willing to fly over for a view like this. And I'm not really obsessing over my sis -just practicing my portrait photography whenever I could.
