summer in Hokkaido: day 4

Day 4 is shopping day!
The first destination in the morning was the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, where you can see the world from the top. The summer version of this place is pretty different from the winter version here. The ice-cream we had up there was said to be the best ice-cream in Sapporo. Well, it might be since my sister had more than one for herself!
At around 11am, we returned to the town centre, somewhere around the Odori Park for shopping (although I didn't buy anything) and lunch. I had an onigiri and a cream puff, and dad bought some peaches from the supermarket! The peaches are super juicy and sweet. It's really really good I'm missing this so much. (not pictured because a minor accident happened)
Since we didn't shop, we walked around the Odori Park. There was a long queue at a booth, so we'd got curious. After getting closer, we found out that they were queuing for the tickets to the SAPPORO MUSIC TENT LIVE during the Sapporo City Jazz Festival. Unexpectedly, Swi-kun was also there in the evening! I literally feel like crying when I saw him posting up the picture on Instagram. That feeling which I'm so close to him is so special. Just we were not destined to meet. Too bad.
After that, we dropped by the Former Hokkaidō Government Office for a photo. If I'm not mistaken, I've been in there before, and it's now something like a museum.
The last spot of the day was Tanukikoji! I have no impression about this place in winter. I guess this place would be very crowded (much crowded than summer). I've always had a good impression about shopping streets, so I like this place! However, my dad and I got lost at first, since we're busy shooting that fat tanuki. We walked all the way from the 5th street to the 1st street, then overshot to the 6th street to look for our friends. It was so funny recalling this part. I don't know why I didn't buy anything. Perhaps I'm not good at shopping. Mum did buy a lot of souvenirs and food/snacks, which I've been so thankful for.
Dinner was at a nice buffet style restaurant where you got to grill your own meat at your own table. I was too busy eating so no pictures for you!
