church

As what I've said yesterday, I went to a church in North Point, which is an hour away from my uni. Since Hong Kong is a small place, the church is small as well. It was literally funny when my friend who doesn't speak nor understand Cantonese realized that he's going for a session which is conducted in Cantonese after being told by a nice lady. And he ended up being lost at most of the time.
I have to say, I don't really think it's necessary to jot down what we did in the church. All I remember is the really strong air-cond, and the really enthusiastic "sisters" and "brothers" from the church. Tbh, I don't really think I'll be there again.

(you should listen to this, it's so good)
finally found another voice I really like!

After the worship service (whatever, idk), I realized this is totally not my thing. I listened to what the pastor said, and thought "yeah, what you've said is right, totally right, but it's not my thing."
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I enjoy being myself right now. I'm not an atheist, just I'm further away from God compared to them. I felt good. Not being engaged to something, being the one controlling myself. I feel good.
The enthusiastic people actually wanted to have lunch with us, but I personally didn't want to get too involved with them, as I'm not going to see them for the next time. I felt quite sorry for them, they are such nice people. We hopped onto the MTR and headed to Causeway Bay for lunch and a little shopping. The actual plan was to go to the Commercial Press bookstore to look for my Moleskine and watercolour brushes for my sister, but we entered the Hysan Place to search for lunch. It was huge, we didn't manage to visit every shop. Instead, we went up to the 10th floor, took an elevator to the 11th floor to have lunch. We shared a set from Pepper Lunch (idk why but it looked so good), and went to the Estlite Bookstore (诚品书店), which has occupied 3 floors (8,9&10th floors) in the mall. I have only an hour to spend inside and apparently it wasn't enough for me. And yea, I bought my Moleskine here (so expensive T.T). I saw some really good-looking planners, but they are just so expensive. From the price, you can tell how important it is to the people here.
At around 3:30pm, my friend wanted to go back to the uni as he wanted to play squash with the other friends. At first I wanted to go to the Commercial Press, but I gave up as there were too many people around, and I didn't wanna get lost again. Then I decided to stop at the MTR mall at Tseung Kwan O to buy some groceries (lemon and breakfast) before going back.
I reached the campus at around 6pm, and headed to my hall immediately. I bought milk and cereal, as I found myself taking too long time to finish my bread. It was heavy.
After resting and bathing, I joined my friends for dinner a.k.a the last dinner before school starts. I got the chance to socialize, I tried -and failed, probably because I was too tired. I really envy another friend of mine who was so good at socializing.

It's 11:12pm now, school's startin' tomorrow.
Good night!

p.s. (some) photos to be up in a few posts!
