I was told that I didn't do well for my presentation for being too nervous and I knew it would happen due to stage fright problems I have since when I was in primary school. My younger sister always ask me to read more materials in English to improve my vocab but it didn't sound like a good idea given that there are so many interesting reads in other languages. I didn't feel too happy about that comment cos I thought I did better than the previous one. However I have to admit I'm the one who's the worst in doing the presentation. I just can't memorize stuff in my head I guess. (And yea, no rehearsal for the last presentation is one of the smartest decision to make)
This semester wasn't too good. I took two math courses, two language courses and a core course for my major. I screwed up most of my midterms and could only say well, work hard for my finals. I like some of my profs, like my multivariable calculus prof, my German lecturer (one or two more German posts coming soon) and my chemeng prof. They made me like the courses they taught, and I really appreciate that!
My new roommate of the year came from Taiwan and is two years younger than me. There are many things we tolerated with each another, and I'm grateful for the Taiwanese food she gave me :)
Reunited with the sisters and started our cooking group. We did cook a lot this semester but less frequently lately as we got busier towards the end of semester. Assignments, presentations and projects ugh there's another presentation next Monday so it didn't feel like the semester is really "over".
We went hiking twice in this semester, I missed the third one to attend a compulsory seminar. pfft
Finally got to visit Central and Sheung Wan after staying here for a year. I hope I could always think like a traveler wandering in a new city and take many many photos fearlessly.
Winter is approaching and I bought a pair of boots. I really need to tell myself it is a right choice and be more confident to wear it.
So unorganized passage just like how my mind is thinking now. 2 more assignments to do before next week comes.
