churches of vilnius

My first experience of Lithuania was way different from my self-declared sensei's. We walked through underground for restrooms and got into churches as we first set foot on Vilnius. I always like to say how I hate myself for being so bitchy, in a way that I always wanted to stay when I am supposed to leave but when I stay at somewhere for too long I get bored of it. I started to feel impressed and (at the same time) tired of the complexity of carvings on the monuments I see in the old towns, and also the vertical frames. Probably that was why I was so relieved that I went to the US for my exchange cos I get tired of things so easily.

Here's a list of churches I photographed in Vilnius, and there definitely are more. I hope Google gave me the right names, since I can never remember them.

1. St. Peter and St. Paul's Church

2. Cathedral Basilica of St. Stanislaus and St. Vladislav

3. Church of St. Anne

4. St. Catherine's Church
