hydrangeas at the odawara castle

We left the airbnb a little earlier to visit the Odawara Castle nearby before heading to Hakone again. Blue hydrangeas definitely rank high in my favorite flower list, and I was surprised to see them blooming at the castle.

Streets were filled with students -plus teachers acting like their security guards to bring them to school safely!  Σ(O_O)

On the way to the castle, we got ourselves onigiri and coffee for breakfast at a seven-eleven.

We greet some Japanese kitties on the streets before hopping on the train to Shinjuku.

Lost a charm I got from this shop :(

This cracked me up so much.

hatsuhana soba

Located by the river, Hatsuhana Soba Honten is one of the more famous restaurants we found on the internet. Dine here, feel zen and enjoy a bowl of soba in your favourite style. I got Ten-Zaru-Soba and it was really good.

We didn't have to wait for long despite coming in a rather large group and it was close to lunch hour.

hakone open air museum

A magical healing spot for me.
I came here solely for the Symphonic Tower but left with more photos.

That wasn't all of them, cos we ran out of time and had to leave.
I love this spot and would recommend any art lovers to come.
