tin shui wai pt. ii

(my first time seeing people drying meat :'D)

21/12/14
Hello part ii.
For this trip we followed one of the trails recommended by DiscoverHK, which is surprisingly short :3 However, we took a bus in Choi Hung instead of MTR to a light rail station in TSW after brunch.
My first light rail experience was dizzy. I was standing and the light rail surely doesn't care about inertia...
Anyhow, the colors of this little town somehow makes me miss Seoul again. Esp for people who are already tired of skyscrapers, here's another place for a weekend getaway in HK!

All photos taken with Nikon Df + 50mm f/1.4 lens and processed with VSCOFilm in Lightroom 5.

Shooting with the 50mm when traveling is always pleasing. It's light, fast and produces beautiful bokeh. The only downside of a prime lens is it's never wide enough for me to stand close and shoot T^T

Till next month,

tin shui wai pt. i

21/12/2014

Last winter, I had to stay in HK longer for my industrial training, so I took the chance to travel to somewhere people normally don't go. Thanks to my travel buddies I went up north to Tin Shui Wai (天水圍), Yuen Long, and I guess this is how the outskirts of Hong Kong look like. Light rails, old shorter(?) buildings, lots of space... nothing like the HK island.

All taken with the Nikon Df + 50mm f/1.4 lens and processed in Lightroom 5.

Part ii will be up soon! I always take too many pictures when I travel ;)
