winskkuiss #10: busan day 1

I decided to take a break from Seoul posts (getting a little bored from studying for my finals) and write about our Busan trip back in July. It was a really short trip (2D1N), but I tried to make the most out of it - making this post a super picture-heavy one!

I was the one who planned the itinerary of this trip, and it's a little rush /sorry my friends (。・//ε//・。)
My credit card can't be used to book the hotel nor reserve the KR passes, so lucky that my friend was able to do it!
P.S. If you will be traveling to Busan from Seoul via KTX, please use the KR pass! It will save a lot on your transportation fees.
My first experience on the KTX early in the morning (well our train departs at 7:30am if I'm not mistaken) was pretty good, we grabbed some food from the 7-11 before hopping on the train - well mine was obviously my favourite combination of onigiri and banana milk!
My train obsession tells me that I love the KTX! The journey is super smooth and relaxing, and after a 2hrs+ nap we woke up in Busan!

After checking the weather forecast (it says that it will rain on our second day in Busan), I decided we have to go to Gamcheon Cultural Village (on the left side from the Busan station) first, then go all the way from the very right side of the green line and finally moving back towards the left side, as our hotel is located nearby Sasang.

So the itinerary for Day 1 goes by:
1. Gamcheon Cutural Village - Korea's Santorini
2. Daeyeon - where we wandered around and finally found Ssangdoongi Dwaeji Gukbap (recommended by the guys) to have dwaeji gukbap (돼지국밥) / pork soup rice for lunch
3. Yonggungsa Temple - a temple by the sea
4. Haeundae beach - the most famous beach in South Korea - had dinner here!
5. Gwangalli beach - to see the Gwangan Bridge at night ♡^▽^♡
6. Checked in at 9 Hotel
We also bought the one-day metro ticket (4,500 won) as it will be cheaper for us to travel!
I seriously took too many photos... Busan is such a lovable city!
