summer in Hokkaido: day 2 pt. i

Why half? Cos there are too many photos :/
When I travel, I take like tons of photos, and I'm never good at choosing the best ones.
Hence, my folders are always super large up to a few gigs orz

Now, I'm trying a new way to edit my photos by using Lightroom. It's pretty convenient when you're doing some batch-processing (which also made me feel dumb when I usually process my photos with PS only).
I regret so much that I forgot to shoot in RAW in this trip :(

All these photos were taken in the morning, before we headed to the restaurant for lunch (the rest will be in another post).

Woke up early in the morning (Japan has the earliest sunrise -I woke up cos it's gotten bright outside but it's only 4 something in the morning zzz) and went for onsen (omg I love the onsens so much).
During breakfast, we faced some trouble: the kids!
There was at least two groups of school kids who checked in to our hotel, and having buffet breakfast with so many people is indeed a headache. There were long queues everywhere I just went for the shortest one in sight. We were too impressed that Japanese children are so disciplined, even when their parents are not around them.
I've gained like one kilo when I returned, but I didn't feel bad since that was due to all the Japanese food I ate om nom nom. In addition, I had A LOT of desserts because they are all so GOOD. MAX DELICIOUS I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE.
I didn't take a lot of food photos in this trip. In the first two days we stayed in the onsen ryokan, and we normally have dinner right after soaking in the onsen (so no camera). Lunch in the next few days was quite good, I have no idea why I didn't take their pictures.

After breakfast, we went to visit Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch. Then, we visited an orchard where you can pick and eat all the cherries you want (can even takeaway some if you like with additional fees charged). This is the first time I ate so much cherries until I didn't want to have any of them anymore.

to be continued.
