summer in Hokkaido: day 2 pt. ii

If I remembered correctly, we had lunch at a restaurant nearby Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura (η™»εˆ₯δΌŠι”ζ™‚δ»£ζ‘) and went in the theme park right after that. You can read more about this place here.
My sister and I got ourselves omikuji from the cat temple. It seems that I'm having some good luck right now! :D
In the evening, we checked in to another onsen ryokan. Onsen onsen onsen~
During our first visit to Japan I was still shy and didn't really enjoy using the public bath that much (what a waste) but now I totally love it! The outdoor onsen is a must-try!
After dinner, we went out for a walk on a little street nearby. One of my favourite things about Japan is their konbinis!! They are SOOOO convenient you can almost anything you want to find!
My favourite items to buy in any konbini would be:
  • onigiri (tunamayo is my fave)
  • milk
  • yoghurt
  • snacks (bought my first kinoko no yama!)
  • JUMP (I don't read girls mags but you can also find some here)
  • mineral water (you can get really cheap for one big bottle)
  • leggings(?)
  • free brochures/mags/idk (featuring the kawaii KyaryPamyuPamyu and the new Ghibli movie poster)
There were fireworks held at Jigokudani that night, but I didn't go to watch, simply because I'm too lazy to walk from the hotel to the valley.
And yep, that's all for day 2!
