I spent 80% of the last day of the year lying on the bed trying to fall asleep. Odile came over to my room for a late night chat till 3am, and we couldn't sleep after that. I only got to sleep at around 7 after killing 2 bosses in Zelda but woke up at 9. I was so zombified with bloodshot eyes and felt so sad for not being able to sleep. I had instant noodles, a kiwi and did nothing for the day till late afternoon as I have to reach TST by half past five to meet Rachel.

Paid my second visit to Red Chicken and bought some snacks from Daebak Korean grocery store as we planned to sit at somewhere else while waiting for the countdown. But well...

Rachel lost her phone otw to the Avenue of Stars. The area was so damn crowded and she didn't even know when it's gone.

When we made it to watch fireworks the road is congested full of people who came for the countdown event. This is my first countdown event and I literally felt like a tuna as I squeeze through the sea of people. I changed places a few time as I start to feel breathless, and I'm glad that I did that. especially when one woke up to the news of the Shanghai countdown stampede...

Thank you mr. policemen, you all did a great job. Hope you all get a good rest like I did (slept until 12 today orz)
