Spent our Christmas Eve wandering in Sheung Wan. Can't believe I have not came to this place in my freshman year, and this might be the third or fourth visit in this semester.
We decided (well, I decided) that we have to come to Teakha, a pretty famous cafe in Sheung Wan after reading so many positive reviews online. It's hidden in the streets so you really have to look out for it carefully. We walked past the alley several times before noticing this little cafe here.
The cafe is almost full and their bestseller, the matcha cheesecake has been sold out by the time when we reach. It was kinda disappointing but we still ordered some food to fill in my hungry companions' stomachs.
Teakha's interior designer did a great job. The cafe feels warm and homey, every single corner is creatively cute. They offer free seating, in which you can choose to sit either indoor, open air or upstairs. And yea, you gotta say you paid for what you're enjoying. The masala chai (well we call it teh halia) is awesome. I really like the hojicha au lait, so addicted to the smell and taste of roasted tea!
Well now I'm regretting for not being brave enough to take more photos...
