I did the weirdest thing ever just now: making half a pack of Shin Ramyeon. I had digestive biscuits as a snack after getting back and felt a little migraine so I couldn't do anything but rest since my mind wasn't working.

There's no secret to my really good tomato pasta:
1. Get a blender
2. Rinse and soak a handful of cherry tomatoes and a few basil leaves in salt water for a few minutes to remove any remaining pesticides, peel a clove of garlic and pick a piece or two of sun-dried tomatoes (the more the stronger your sauce will taste). Throw the ingredients (say that like this guy does) into your blender and drizzle some olive oil in.
3. Get your spaghetti boiling in lots of salt water.
4. Blend the ingredients till smooth. I added some brine from my preserved lemons instead of salt and that's completely optional and voilà! You got some really good sauce just under a few minutes.
5. When your pasta is ready, pour most of the pasta water away and leave some in the pot. Drizzle some olive oil and mix your freshly made sauce into it. Turn on a little heat to cook the sauce a little.
6. I tend to season with black pepper, red pepper flakes and parmesan on all of my pasta. Not too much!
I am so loving my basil plant I got from the flower show last Saturday. Just hoping that it doesn't die too quickly 🙏
Speaking about that, I adopted another succulent. Long story short, the first one wilted.
My roomie doesn't think soil is clean (which probably is true), but I really like plants.

I submitted Chapter 3 of our FYP knowing there's likely to be no changes within the next few hours and headed out for class. I didn't feel well at all after getting back to dorm post grocery shopping. I felt comfortable not to talk to people in the library but I met someone I hadn't seen in two weeks despite how small our university is and asked about things I wanted to know.

My second day of not running after two days of running. Thanks to the weather being a crybaby -the humidity was higher than 90% on most days so it was too cold for a tropical native to run outdoors.

Just read of a piece of news on a drugged teenage girl driving against traffic on the highway in Malaysia. I had no idea why did I feel strangely sad about this incident. News come and go, histories get forgotten as time passes. I tried putting myself in the teenager's position but I couldn't. She's younger than me after all and already is bearing the burden of murdering one's life just because of a moment of high.

The young girl next door came in to ask for band aid. Apparently her roomie is living with her boyfriend now.

Jay Chou's songs are still so good. I should start working on my homework now. Signing off.
