a little fishing village

This little village called 新甘光 was a new place we explored -my uncle recommended this place (新甘光益豐茶室) for coffee and bread when we were talking over breakfast. It wasn't easy to find navigation, not even on Google Maps -Instagram geotagging and Apple Maps did the job leading us here #socialmediapower

We visited this place twice as it wasn't open in the afternoon during our first visit. It was a half-an-hour drive from my grandparents' place and we managed to persuade my grandparents to come along. I casually chatted with a lady whom was carrying a container from the jetty, when I thought she was here to fish but turned out to be releasing prawns (放生). After a little while she turned to talk with my grandma and found that they both came from the same village. I guess that's the good thing about coming from a small area: everyone knows everyone. I hope that we get to do more of these little travels as I can tell they enjoyed it very much.
