This is Sam on the left, she's an awesome girl who shone rays of light into my dull black life. She's got a wonderful extra sweet personality, her achievements (both academic and non-academically) can easily impress anyone, and I admire her positivity the most.
There were a lot of times in my life when I stop and think, why can't I be like someone, do awesome things and stay optimistic? The first letter of my personality test revealed it all: I am an introvert. It makes talking to people difficult, no matter how hard I try to converse my thoughts with them. Things often go the bad way when I try too hard. I don't like to give myself too many justifications, cos they are in fact just excuses.
Anyway, it was a great opportunity to be able to hang out with an awesome person like Sam. We reunite in our university's social event and she asked us out for brunch. What a sweet girl!
HK made a rainy entrance to September, where we already experienced two typhoon-hit Sundays and were anticipating for the next on today (which fortunately did not happen). I like both sunny and rainy days, but I hate gloomy days the most so really, I don't hate typhoons that much.
We shopped at several places before ending up in HeSheEat for dessert/dinner. Food was great but service was meh, we even got a 10% discount for their late serving of the panna cotta. And the beer was bought from a stall downstairs, cos the beer was pink and tastes fruity.
