the symbols of cal

Edited these some time ago and didn't bother to post cos I wasn't really satisfied with the colors. Then I learned that it is quite impossible to make everyone happy with things that I do -and I guess doing something is better than nothing (revisable statement)- so I am sending these to the internet world.

You can totally tell the style of editing is super different. I always get frustrated with my color choices after sometime, which is why the style kept changing.

 

And happy 23rd to myself; I basically stopped getting excited about my birthday, and the feeling has been replaced by anxiousness and a form of suppression of anticipation of what the others will do. I still hold on to the without-hope-there-is-no-disappointment idea. Fuck the happy loner in me.

uc botanical garden

A few shots from my first and last visit to UC Botanical Garden in Berkeley last February. I hopped onto the Bear Transit H-Line after my last class of the day and headed uphill alone with my camera. It was a peaceful evening, and a lil too bad that I did not manage to visit every corner as it closes early...

I told my friends I wasn't happy when I first got into university cos it didn't feel encouraging, but this place gives me a whole different way of looking at university life. Now I feel thankful for getting into my home university which brought me here. One more month to go in this lovely place, and I really need to bring my camera to school more often! Am already missing this place before I leave :']

big c

I hiked up to the Big C with a friend yesterday after screwing up an exam (most prolly will get the lowest in the class) and I knew I need to come again at sunset. Finally got a good rest after all the traveling and exams but so much homework idekwhy.

Have a great weekend, I still don't know how Sunday will be.

noise pollution

It's scary how fast my heart is beating right now and being conscious about that makes it beats even faster. My fingers trembled as I type, I had to plug in my earphones to gain peace. Noise pollution sure is something dangerous and nasty I'd never want to work in an environment like that. I drink chai and hope it slows things down. I am stressed, nervous and helpless. Perhaps I had to take a nap.

the sun and the sea

Part II of my little solo adventure to watch the sunset by the bay. The weather has been so gloomy for the past few days (will be raining for the whole week TT) so I'm really missing this. Just finished another presentation today, it sucked but it's fine.
