west coast best coast ii

So excited for the weekend, and daylight saving time will be coming on Sunday! -not really something that exciting but I think it's an amusing thing to do to adjust the clock. Rainy days ain't too bad when you know the family will be visiting during the holidays!

Location: Big Sur, California.

golden big sur

I can't be contented with yesterday's glory
I can't live on promises winter to spring
Today is my moment, now is my story
I'll laugh and I'll cry and I'll sing

welcome to roaring camp

Really, I wish I'm out in somewhere sunny and warm shooting vibrant colors instead of sitting here, sheltering from the drizzle and working on homework. Emi Fujita's albums on the play, and I feel in peace. These photos don't do this place justice. The 50mm wasn't capable of capturing the super tall redwoods, and oh my gosh spring break is coming real soon!

west coast best coast i

Coming to California is one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I can't be more thankful to be enjoying all the sunlight instead of snow in spring. The West Coast is all about being casual, freedom, encouragement, hippie and cool. So glad, so glad to be here. I can't wait to be shooting more during spring break. And yeah, splitting this series into a few batches cos they deserve more love.

on the road

So I made a preview post earlier but that was too little to show you the trip. Highway 1 is amazing, and it's hard to beat with the gorgeous coastal views (just my driver drove too fast and I forgot to switch my camera mode)
