the getty i

It's been more than a year -my bad habit of accumulating too many photos is finally showing its dark side *sigh*

I doubt that anyone would dislike this place -unless you don't like spaces that shout ART. The Getty is a multidimensional art experience that delights your sensory organs (or was it just me?) My particular fondness for art galleries just got another upgrade in this building covered in white, and oh the garden! How could I not appreciate those plants! LA was a little smoggy that day, and I felt a little sad to leave this gallery to catch my bus ride back to Berkeley. Who knows if I'll be back again?

spring break in america : zion national park

An almost forgotten post from the SBIA series. Zion National Park is the place for giant rocks. It was super exciting to see the large formations from the windows along the tunnels as we drove past -it reminds me of SnK -like a giant observing the little people from the windows of their houses. Didn't really liked the color from this edit but I don't think I'll redo it anymore.

A piece of wood fossil -our tour guide Michael pointed it out for me; I touched the a thousand years old treasure whilst the others thought it was dirty -how ironic is it.

spring break in america : outside vegas

You definitely can tell that I like to shoot while moving from one place to another. And seriously, these are way better than Vegas.

spring break in america : las vegas

I have no idea why my friends loved this city that much, but my first visit didn't impress me. It feels like a fancier and larger Macau, which wasn't the most interesting thing in my opinion. I find the queue in front of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign ludicrous, and the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay was meh. I wonder what's wrong with me.
