I tend to walk a lot around the shopping malls/streets, just looking at the beautiful luxurious items and sigh at the price tag. I don't need more clothes as I don't have anymore place to store them, just thinking of how to bring everything back when I graduate gives me a headache.
But window shopping ain't as easy as it seemed to be. You'll need the stamina to walk until you find the shop you really like and spend some time staring at the items you like (and drool), and you'll need a really patient friend to accompany you throughout the process. I find out that I normally finish shopping very fast if I'm alone. Probably there's nothing that cuts off my confidence.
I went to Mongkok with my sister late in the afternoon yesterday to buy some instax film and do some shopping. She needs to get more clothes and shorts and I need the film. We went to Langham Place and got on to the super long escalators to reach the higher floors, then slowly walk towards the ground floor. I really like this mall, it's got all the interesting (and relatively expensive) stuff here.
We had some dessert before leaving the place to search for film. I never remembered the place where I get the film, but I know it's located directly in front of a huge SASA store. I failed to find the place when we first got into the building (goddamnit it's got 21 floors), and when I found it the place was closed as we were late. But seriously, normal Mongkok shops should still be open at 8:30pm!
Well, after some googling I realized they moved to another building orz
We left the building and went back to HH through the Yau Ma Tei Station (it's closer than the MK station from there) to meet up with Kirs who'll be joining us for sushi. She reached earlier so she joined the queue before it grew even longer. I love having midnight sushi in HK, they're cheaper and so good (≧◡≦)
I woke up late today, did laundry and cleaned the room in the late morning while waiting for Kirs to come and cook nasi lemak together. It was a first time success, our nasi lemak tastes great (thanks to Kirs' mama's secret sambal sauce!) and it was pretty easy to prepare. We chatted a little and had tea after Kirs left. I fell asleep in the afternoon and woke up in the evening. K, my sister and I went out to get some grocery and had dinner in HH. I got myself some new clothes this weekend, can't wait for the weather to turn cooler so I could wear them!
It's 1:00am now. Time to sleep.
Good night!
