For the first field trip the university brought us to Gyeongbokgung and Insadong after the NANTA performance held in the university's auditorium. I find Gyeongbokgung pretty boring, probably because I'm not a museum person. This place is flooded with tourists and it's kinda hard for me to shoot the details of the beautiful roofs with a prime lens. I did my best and hope you all like the photos. Insadong is a nice place with lots of souvenir shops. I didn't manage to buy anything from this place since most of the beautifully designed pieces falls in a higher price range. We had sujebi (not pictured) and seafood pancake in a pretty famous restaurant for dinner. A Korean student helper unnie helped us to order the food, and the sujebi comes in a really big proportion!
We went to Myeongdong on the other day to get my SIM card. It took us some effort to find the alternate entrance to the building (the door is really small and it's just on the left side of the building just fyi) There was no English/Chinese speaking staff that day. Still can't believe that I bought my SIM card from a Japanese lady using my crappy Japanese in Seoul (γα΄γ✿)
The next post will be full of flora&fauna!
Till then.
