just classes

I might compile the posts in the coming three days together, since three posts about study life in Berkeley just sound too redundant. Really thankful how my daily Instagram updates are helping me to recall what happened yesterday. Days fly extra fast here.

Day 2 of class:
It was Wednesday, and I had a 4 hour break in between two classes so I went to an on campus cafe to kill time. I got ffked by the roomie, but I talked to a random guy. Too random tbh. I later went to one of the libraries and explored around a little. Perhaps the library is one of the places where it felt great to be alone, but I really love how quiet it was and everyone was busy with their work. When 3pm comes I went to the class where I did not expect a pretty little garden and a very old-cabin-design-building. So much light entered the building and it felt warm. I was a little surprised to see 3 people I know taking the same course -although I'm the only one from another department. Not feeling lonely felt great too. I had pizza again after class, this time at Cheeseboard. I could get used to this walking distance.

Day 3 of class:
Knowing that it will rain on the next day, I brought my camera along to school as I've only got two classes in the morning. I went up the Campanile and took too many photos (omg I still have more from SF) before going for lunch at Thai Basil. I had tomyum noodles, and the taste was somehow nostalgic. Discovering the study hall in the main library was a surprise, and I decided to reserve the hike to Big C on a clear evening to shoot the tower in golden light. I bought a matcha latte otw home, it was good and I felt relaxed strolling the streets alone. I then went into Target, bought some necessary supplies and head home. I finally cooked pasta, and it still tastes like how I made it in HK. Such a wonderful evening... Till I realized how I must start to plan for summer.

Day 4 of class:
Friday came by so quickly, and it's one of the days where I can wake up really late (which never happens except on the day when my jetlag is really severe). I cleaned the room and made lunch before going for my 3pm class, and I had to sigh that I am leaving home on a short road trip tomorrow. We had dinner at Kiraku, which is highly ranked on Yelp. The food was good, but I guess I didn't go with the right people. Like what my sister says, one needs to be more daring to spend. It was... awkward. Alright I gotta pack my stuff and prepare for more photoshooting action tomorrow!
