san francisco

Settling down was harder than I thought.
I woke up to the alarm this morning feeling lost. I didn't know where to go next, and to stay indoors didn't sound too appealing. The decision to go to SF was made when I know that my mainlanders school mates will be going too. I had no idea about how the transportation works there, so I hesitated to go alone. I also didn't want to risk it as I wasn't feeling too well.
SF is gorgeous. I have no idea how the color palette of a city could be so pastel! The design of the houses was a dream came true in front of my eyes. How can someone living in a house like that not feel proud of it?! I love the streets, they are hilly and can cause your legs to sore. The houses are built to accommodate with the slope and everything looks naturally good. The cable car is so helpful in moving us around the city in the rain. I knew I had to come to SF again (never into the malls though).
More pictures to be coming soon. My orientation will start tomorrow and I don't know how to feel about that.
Good night.
