Last January, I created this post and now I'm welcoming the first week of December. These photos were taken on last year's Christmas Eve. I wouldn't be spending X'mas in HK this year, as we've planned our trip to Taipei!
I don't really know why the temperatures drop really slowly this year, but you still feel the chills in the wind. It's the time when you feel really cold and sleepy as you spend time either in the library or in the room preparing for finals. I really missed spending time exploring the city especially at times like this.
Oh yeah, I'm not too sure what to feel about this change of the blog layout. I'll probably make more changes to it after the exams so the posts will look neater.

I wasn't trying to make this a food post, literally.
I have to admit Sheung Wan is becoming my favourite place in HK, as I am getting more and more familiar with the zone (and somehow am getting better at navigating around). It's not a cheap place, but you get what you pay for.

Summer in HK isn't as bad as I thought, except for the sudden rainstorms resulting in my wet Birks.
I'd say it is hot and humid but still tolerable as I spend most of my time staying indoors.

Met this adorable furball with her papa after tea in Sheung Wan. She performs tricks when you hold food in front of her eyes. Her papa is super friendly and lets us play with her (and photograph her). It's fun to meet friendly people in HK. I feel special when someone treats me well, probably because it's so different from the normal local culture I've experienced here.
PoHo is a fresh, young neighbourhood filled with the coolest boutiques, cafes and vintage stores. You'll see a lot less people tourists in this area compared to its well-known neighbour, SoHo, and maybe that's what I've been looking for. Seeing too much crowd in Hong Kong, especially on the Hong Kong island is becoming an eyesore, and this place filled with creativeness pumps the mood up. It somehow gives me hope and inspiration after spending an afternoon here.
Many more photos to come, and I wonder how will I ever get tired of this place.
